MTO is the part of Sheetz that makes it worth stopping at. It stands for made to order, and it covers everything built behind the counter after you tap it in on the touchscreen: subs, burgers, quesadillas, salads, fried sides, breakfast sandwiches at three in the afternoon. This page carries all 307 of those builds, priced, with calorie counts on 300 of them.

Prices run from $0.50 for the Extra Dipper - Golden BBQ up to $25.75 at the party sizes, and the average build lands around 564 calories. The spread inside that average is enormous. The Extra Dipper - Buffalo comes in at 5 calories while the Hot Doggie Delight reaches 3,616, which is the whole argument for reading the numbers before you tap.

Nothing here is a generic convenience store sandwich. Made To Order Sh'tacked Burger costs $7.49, the The Big Glizzy runs $3.99, and the made to order salads start at $7.79. Use the filters to sort by price, or jump to the breakfast board, the burgers or the fried sides for the section pages.

How the MTO screen thinks

The touchscreen works in one order every time: pick a category, pick a base build, then work down a list of breads, meats, cheeses, toppings and sauces. Most of that customisation is free. The price on this page is the base build, and it holds until you add a premium protein or step up a size. That is why a sub can read $9.19 here and ring up higher after two paid additions.

Ordering happens at the kiosk or in the app, never at the register, and the receipt gives you a number that appears on the pickup screen. Peak times are the two commuter windows and the hour after last call, when a 564 calorie build can take eight or nine minutes rather than four. Our MTO ordering walkthrough covers the screen step by step, and the nutrition calculator adds a whole order up before you commit to it.

Answers

Sheetz MTO questions

What does MTO stand for at Sheetz?
MTO means made to order. It is the kitchen behind the touchscreen, separate from the packaged grab and go coolers. Anything you customise on the screen and wait for is an MTO item.
How many items are on the Sheetz MTO menu?
We track 307 priced MTO builds, from $0.50 up to $25.75 for the party sizes. That count moves as seasonal builds rotate in and out, so it is refreshed with every update to this page.
What is the cheapest MTO item?
The Extra Dipper - Golden BBQ at $0.50 is the lowest priced build on the board. Below about four dollars you are mostly looking at hot dogs, single breakfast items and the smaller fried sides.
Can you order MTO food at the register?
No. MTO orders go through the in store touchscreen or the Sheetz app, and the register is only for paying. Staff will point you at the kiosk if you try, because the kitchen works from ticket numbers the screen generates.
Is MTO food available 24 hours?
At almost every location, yes. The kitchen runs with the store, which means a burrito at 4 AM is an ordinary order. A small number of stores trim the menu overnight when staffing is short.
How long does an MTO order take?
Four to six minutes on a normal shift for a single build. Expect eight to ten during the morning and evening rushes, and longer for platters and party trays, which is what the party tray calculator is for.
Do MTO prices change by location?
Yes. Sheetz prices regionally, so the figures here, taken from a Pennsylvania reference store, can differ from your own by twenty to fifty cents on a sandwich. The gap is usually consistent, so check one item and apply it across the board.
